But at this point devs really don't give a frick like why should we download 140gb game to then download an 129gb patch like can't they send the right version the servers so we don't have to basically download games twice ?

HDDs are like 1/4 the cost they were even 5 years ago. It's part of why games got so large. A 4TB HDD costs less than the most recent CoD.

i got pretty far in to the newest metro game
then instead of going straight like the game wanted i went left TO EXPLORE THIS OPEN WORLD GAME and the NPC who was supposed to help me boost up on to a ledge just wouldn't do it and it completely broke the mission and made the game unbeatable. the only option was to restart the whole section and re-do hours and hours of gameplay.
this was years after the game released
it was a widely known bug
i deleted the game and have never went back to it

This is maybe a 10gb game but someone ran the textures through an upscaling filter a couple of times so now it's a 140gb game (4x size multiplier on each pass)
if the devs are fricktarded then everything goes into a single encrypted zip container (any change and you got to redistribute the whole thing)
then someone just has to pick out a bit of graffiti that looks a bit like it says BIPOC (got to add three trans flags in its place then do a barv)

But cyberpunk bug to me were the essential experience since the bugs and glitches were on of main theme of the game so often I didn't knew if the bug/glitch was intentional or not
