Time to reveal the game for those who have been scrolling. Fallout, especially the older ones - were a big critique of identity politics, and 'wokeism' in general on both sides of the aisle. There's no reasoning with ghouls but the Vault Dwellers are rich and pompous and also can't be reasoned with. That's why 'War never Changes'. Amazon is going to insert identity politics into this show - 100% - and ruin the entire premise in favor of pushing a political narrative, much like this comment section. The overarching idea is that good people make the world a better place, no matter the ideas they're surrounded with.

Not caring is an option. Don't let your identity become entirely wrapped around things you dont like. Even if it feels like they're social engineering the brand, ultimately our individual impact is minimal. Choosing not to engage with their product will suffice enough.

So we had the GTA 6 announcement for an announcement, BG3 had another massive patch (so much for a finished game on release lol) that addresses issues in the endgame and finally fixes the epilogue, elden ring had leaks or something for a new DLC, there's peter griffin in fortnite and cs2 had a patch that made the game go from a 3/10 to a 3.5/10 and Faker got the title for the best esport player of the year. Also, World of Warcraft: Season of Discovery released which added tons of new content (LOL) for a 20 year old game. If you find Retail too mechanically taxing but at the same time too easy, and you're desperate to relive the glory days of 2012 when you first played Vanilla on shitty private servers, or if you're just looking for an excuse to play the same game again and again, this is the best time to jump in. I heard SoD was the baby mode of an already easy game, but you have to keep everything in perspective as Classic Andys are a sensitive bunch and 2004-2006 was a different time. Please do not cope in the replies.

Looks like Amazon has predictably dropped a female as the main character and probably made her lame and gay.

It is directed by the Nolan bro and has Kyle McLaughin in it so I may have some amount of hope - probably just enough for Amazon to crush in the first episode when Vault 33 Mary Sue defeats a death claw with her bare hands.

Basing expectations for GTA VI off of these games which are already out there, we can expect:

1. GTA VI to have environments that look as good as flight simulator games - It should be possible for GTA VI to pull this off as the area they have to map out is smaller than the planet Earth.

2. To have their own in house equivalent to path tracing active for GTA VI - This would create near photorealistic lighting for ingame characters and scenes. The hard part would be optimizing path tracing code to the extent that even your base ps5 can run it.

3. Character models somewhere around the past of us part 2. The hard part here would actually be maintaining character quality across NPC's. It is feasible taking into account that Horizon Forbidden West already pulled it off successfully in making their NPCs nearly as detailed as the main character.

4. Smart NPC behaviors - Something rockstar already has experience with since RDR2.

5. The most likely weak point for GTA VI would be game physics, where we have no way to know exactly how destructible the environment will be in game.

Here are my predictions for GTA VI:

1. Graphically better than RDR2. Expect it to set new standards for what game graphics are supposed to look like in open world games.

2. Larger map than GTA 5.

3. Female character option. It's 2023 and they are trying to pretend to be woke.

4. Set somewhere between the 80s and present day. Going any further back will end up making it a historical game.

5. Upgraded physics engine. More destructible environments.

6. Buildings with indoor environments.

7. NPCs with set routines and more diverse personalities.

8. Physically aligned NPC movements.

9. PS5 exclusive game. No ps4 equivalent due to how limited older consoles are now.

10. Cutting edge 2022 tech equivalent.

Taking into account that GTA series is known to set the new benchmark for open world games for the next 4-5 years, expect it to look better than Spiderman 2.

My permadeath file now has a complete large-scale production network for Stasis Devices and Fusion Ignitors. There is a facility for every gas and mineral resource that will produce 20-34k/day and there is one large central farm that grows every plant minus mordite because mordite is ugly so there's a separate facility that only grows that. Once a day or two passes and I can check the actual output of the network I may build standalone circuit board, living glass liquid explosive farms if the main central farm is inadequate for my needs.

Anyway it only takes about 15 hours on permadeath to permanently automate and trivialize all resources and money and I am going to ban the next person who calls NMS a grind. The only grindy aspect is finding a decent cobalt deposit.

Sony legit knows what gaymers want like at this point if they announced any game except those 2 stupid franchises people would been legit a lot happier, like remake of folklore or gravity rush or siphon filter or legend of dragon or ape escape or wild arms and etc but nope here remaster of game that look wise can't be truly improved and on ps5 you can play ps4 games so all those ps4 remasters and remakes are useless
