Greens and even the Bloc are left parties too. NDP is Bernie Sanders tier gibs-me-dat party lead by a punjabi in full turban and beard, Green party is lead by the bride of frankenstien, why they're even a party still I don't know since they've never managed to secure more than 2-3 seats in any election since they started 20 years ago (min seats for official party is 15).
Bloc is "let's pretend like Quebec is a separate country even though we lost the referendum in the 90s" and is pro state run daycare and "hey don't forget that Quebec is special and we have enough seats to always be a prick in your side" -- can't blame them honestly.
Even the Conservative party here is Obama tier - full immigration, abortion rights, etc but they at least talk about balanced budgets and not full government gibs for everything - which always leads them to lose because Canadians are drunk on free government money a programmes.
Honestly biggest surprise here is the People's Party of Canada (PPC) which is anti-immigrant, anti-vax, Trumpy-bear like politics. It's their second federal election and they've gone from like 1% popularity to over 7%.
