Today is an election day in Germany

I know, who cares. Could be lots of drama if the CDU/CSU lose majority.

Anyway, I am not a citizen so I can't vote. But my foid is and she will vote. The problem is that she is a white woman so she is gonna vote wrong.

I know she plans to give one of her votes for the greens. And my problem is that they are extremely bussy/train loving cute twinks that used to be journ*lists, diversity professors, and book translators before becoming politicians. And I draw the line at journ*lism.

Should I lock the door and "lose the key" or do I let a woman practice her right to vote?

Don't know how absentee works there, my foid doesn't know she votes. When I submit my absentee ballot, I request one for her too and fill it out and mail it in. I do this every election*

*To the glowninjas following me this is totally satire and I'd definitely never break federal election law

Better hope you never anger that foid when it's her time of the month because she'll find out eventually and will absolutely snitch on you if you piss her off

They have to sign absentee ballots, don’t they? I imagine it is separated from the actual vote, but if they keep receipt slips or something they could prove a forgery. I serious.y doubt they keep them very long, though. Heck, maybe they don’t sign them at all.

Yeah, you have to sign it.

You put your ballot in an envelope and this envelope as well as a signed form into a bigger envelope.

People check (or not if lazy) if the signature is valid and then only the envelope with the ballot is thrown into the ballot box.

Thanks. So they could theoretically get her legitimate signature, and have a professional compare it to her absentee ballot signature. I know realistically they are not going to go that trouble, for one puddly vote, and they probably throw them out after a while anyway.
