I have a 2009 Elantra, I have to get the Habibi hookup to get it thru inspection. Terminal check engine light, I don't buy factory parts.
I replaced the fuel pump on Friday to hope that stops her from randomly shutting off.
Next car will probably be a 2017 Honda Civic and that should last me for 8 or so years.
With all that being said, I have more money than all of you.

and a 2004 Oldsmobile Alero, worst car I've ever driven. I technically own it, but I've let my cousin rent it for $100 a month for the past 2 years.
I need a heavier truck, but since the only thing I'm every hauling is hay and cattle, I can just use my grandpa's truck.
I don't spend a single unnecessary cent on cars. All on guns and land. Why drop 60k on a new car when you could buy and install two doublewides on your land for the same price, and get 2,000/month from your investment?

I think your Terrain uses a revision of that one awful 3.6 GM used to have. My dad owned a car with that engine and it put itself into limp mode over a camshaft sensor code, with further inspection revealing that it needed all of its cam drive components replaced at 90000km. Being transversely mounted, the job cost something like 🍁$6000 with labour.
