The global fertility rate is already at 2.4. Till date not a single society has shown a positive population trend once it went sub replacement. Most of your population growth comes from developing nations, so if the population growth from developing nations which is anywhere between 3-6 children per woman depending on country still brings the global average to 2.4 that means two things.

1. in another generation at current century long trends humans will become a sub replacement species

2. developed nations specifically arent producing enough children to sustain themselves which everyone would notice if the news media grew the balls to mention that about countries other than China and South Korea.

Out of the six human populated continents only two are producing more children than they are losing. Those two are Africa and Oceania. That's it.

Asia, Europe, North America, South America are already bound for dwindling populations and the problem with that is that if the rate goes too fast society gets fricked, if another country with almost equal development manages to retain their population you are ripe for invasion and defeat.
