I don't get why poorcels seethe about eating ramen.
Ramen can be customized and dressed up in a million different ways. I have at least 3 dozen different brands and flavors in my pantry for when I'm too lazy to cook.
Also, if you're genuinely poor, rice is way cheaper and can be stretched way thinner than ramen.

It's quite good! I also highly recommend Shin Ramyun, especially Black. It's the tits.
Basic b-word Nissin is still great if you use it as a sort of canvas on which you paint spices, veggies, other good ingredients. Yesterday I had some with sesame oil, ginger, garlic, chili paste, red pepper flakes, and sesame seeds. It rocked.

They are awesome, but the curry variety are absolute shit. I usually get some of the hot and spicy or special chicken ones. They are like $2 for a 5 pack.
