And also if it makes you feel better I was also a bit confused about the hand at the beginning and had to look for a bigger version of the emoji and even had to make the sign myself to figure out why it looked weird, I replied to your comment with my explanation about why

It was inspired by some asian cope about the emoji because it apparently is a symbol for small peepees, it was supposed to be marsey laughing at a peepeelet asiancel. Not necessarily wiping her tears, though that might be a good idea, I just tried to integrate the emoji into a marsey and it looks strange. I think the hand is just too big, but I dont know how to make the hand smaller because it is kinda hard to keep the emoji then.
If you got an idea to make it better feel free to edit this one, I am at a loss here tbh

For what I see it looks strange for two reasons: on one hand (lol) the hand is too "squared" for Marsey as in, her hands are more rounded and her fingers are shorter; and on the other hand it's because it should be inverted, as in, the thumb should be on the opposite side closer to her face while the other fingers should be visible for us. Not sure how to explain it properly but I made a small comparison pic of what I mean, you can see that one looks stranger and the other looks fine
My recommendation for drawing hands like this is that if you have doubts try doing the sign yourself in front of a mirror so you can check how is the hand supposed to look
