So last weekend i went to my father's house to eat a nice asado; during the meal, he very casually mentioned that my austrian great grandmother was actually jewish.
I didnt know that particular piece of family history, i dont know why he didnt bother to mention it to me in all the years ive known him, but there it is. I am a Jew.
I used to make fun of 
and that thing they do when they have an erection the first time they try foid's clothes and how thats supposed to be a "valid erection" because they are experiencing gender euphoria.
Now i dont find it weird anymore, because im feeling the same thing, not because of gender, but because of my race. I feel valid and happy that i belong to a proud and cultured people who is solely responsible for the creation of all human civilization.
I feel this strange power flowing through my veins, too, idk whats thats supposed to mean, but i feel connected to something bigger than me.
I will go to the Israeli consulate in my city and see if im eligible for חֹוק הַשְׁבוּת, and have a Right to Return to the Promise Land.
