I think the defence is trying to assert the prosecution cannot guarantee that articfacts introduced from upscaling won't completely change the interpretation of something small in a grainy photo. The prosecution wants that photo in badly, as its the only thing in their eyes that might remove self defense at this point, so they are denying the possibility. The prosecutions expert yesterday nasically admitted he had no idea how the upscaling algos worked on the stand yesterday.

everyone involved is technologically r-slurred. prosecution is trying to use a very small section of a drone shot to show kyle pointing his rifle at the first guy before he chased him. the defense says the image is upscaled and/or interpolated, which means it could depict something that didn't happen. prosecution hasn't given a definitive answer either way, but I believe one picture they showed was noted that it was interpolated between frames.

ok, I think I saw the interpolated picture that looked like a car crash. I saw something where the prosecutor's witness who was supposed to testify about it gave weak testimony.
