So what happened is they're giving employees exactly what was asked for, but just not the ones who whined about it? That's hilarious honestly.

This might have been the sticking point, although I guess most permanent positions should be better in that regard just by definition.

Maybe, I thought that statement was that the permanent employees already had better pay and benefits compared to the temporary ones. Kinda ambiguously worded
