An investigation into three Kiel Middle School students has been launched.
The school district has filed a Title IX complaint against the students, accusing them of sexual harassment for using incorrect pronouns when addressing another student.
“I received a phone call from the principal over at the elementary school, forewarning me; letting me know that I was going to be receiving an email with sexual harassment allegations against my son,” Rosemary Rabidoux, one of the parents of the students being accused said.
“I immediately went into shock! I’m thinking, sexual harassment? That’s rape, that’s inappropriate touching, that’s incest” Rabidoux said. “What has my son done?”
Rabidoux’s 13-year-old son Braden is one of the three eighth grade Kiel Middle School students accused of sexual harassment - something she disputes.
“(The investigating principal) said he’s being allegedly charged with sexual harassment for not using proper pronouns,” said Rabidoux. “I thought it wasn’t real! I thought this has got to be a gag, a joke -- one has nothing to do with the other.”
According to the Wisconsin Institute for Law and Liberty, now defending the accused students, in March, one of their peers announced the pronouns they'd prefer to be addressed as - they/them.
One of the alleged incidents Braden and the others were supposedly involved in happened in late April.
“She had been screaming at one of Braden’s friends to use proper pronouns, calling him profanity, and this friend is very soft-spoken, and kind of just sunk down into his chair,” Rabidoux explained. “Braden finally came up, defending him, saying ‘He doesn’t have to use proper pronouns, it’s his constitutional right to not use, you can’t make him say things.’”
Some say, this could show Rabidoux and her son are against the LGBTQ + community.
“Not at all. Not at all!” said Rabidoux. “My children have been raised to love everybody equally.”
Shortly after finding out her son was being investigated, Rabidoux reached out to WILL.
“Title IX sexual harassment typically covers things like rape, dating violence, quid pro quo sexual favors; really egregious stuff,” WILL deputy counsel Luke Berg said. “There’s nothing even remotely close to that alleged in this case.”
WILL says the misuse of pronouns is not a part of the school district’s policy or Title IX.
“The charge against students for sexual harassment is an extreme abuse of the Title IX process,” said Berg. “It’s totally inappropriate and is totally being mishandled by the school district.”
FOX 11 reached out to the Kiel School District.
It provided us with a statement, saying: “The KASD prohibits all forms of bullying and harassment in accordance with all laws, including Title IX” It goes on to say that it will “continue to support ALL students regardless of sex (including transgender status, change of sex or gender identity)”

A government official is doing something that objectively is illegal and an abuse of their power but hold on... we don't want to rush to judgement... let's wait till all the facts are in... in the fullness of time...
Really makes you
if they'd apply this same standard to a cop.
im gonna go out on a limb and say this story should be put on a backburner and noone should be getting heated till we know all the facts. Kids are just fucking monsters at that age and will tear each other down crab bucket theory style to be top shit.
I'd honestly estimate that 90+% of days I went to middle school I'd been called a cute twink 10 times in the first 20 minutes. I had to be constantly engaged in low-level physical violence. I had to get in fights repeatedly to prove that I was willing to take the punishment if anyone fucked with me.
Yeah, it sucks. But that's middle school. It's a transitional phase where your parents aren't always there to protect you so you have to learn to stand up for yourself. The sickest thing we could do is to take that and have some twisted adult in a position of authority get in on the game and choose which kid they're going to bully using the legal system.
And look
@Redactor0 grew up totally fine and normal
More than I can say for some of you.

Were you in an inner city school or something?
This was considered to be a normal part of socialization in America until very recently. Compare it to other civilized countries. Hell,
@chiobu probably was in the role of Van Damme in Bloodsport and killed like 64 guys just to get where he is today. We have something to learn from that.
The fighting was pretty minimal in my school because those who got caught were publicly caned which was a pretty huge deterrent. Also don't forget the male teachers went through the military so they definitely use military style punishments occasionally lol. But yeah the name calling and all was rampant since we were not PC and shit so we would probably call people slurs and all but it was all pretty normal
Here's how the public caning is like but of course less dramatic lol
Sometimes you really do just have to scare the shit out of boys every once in a while to keep em in line.
More options
Do you have to sit there and watch the caning or are you allowed to take the time to study for your 2nd cram school (as long as you do it quietly)?
the point is to humiliate the person getting whipped plus scare the rest of us so the rest of us have to watch lmao, plus it was during the period where the whole school gathered so there's no cram class anyway

I was talking to a cousin at that age recently and he claims there's no fights at his school, as in he has never once fought.
I'd warn his parents to watch out so that
doesn't crack but they aren't terminally online enough to know what
are.

I was in middle school around 07 and nobody fought unless it was during football at recess

a gang of 11 year olds are holding boston hostage right now and nobody wants to do anything about them beating the shit out of random white people but let's call some middle schoolers sexual harassers because of pronoun nonsense
I know hes 4'10 but that doesnt make him 11 years old
Has anyone thought to just ask LLM to stop beating random people in the streets?
Can't be helped, they were suspected of renting

Last time I talked to him, he had this idea inspired by Mickey Rooney in Breakfast at Tiffany's but he said it was, his words not mine, "not racist enough yet". And then Marky Mark showed up in a van and he had a bunch of hammers and shit. I just started fucking walking at that point any direction. I did NOT want to be involved in this.

The comments are 1/3 "this is rediculous", 1/3 "the source is nazi, I refuse to believe" and 1/3 "prosecuting children for calling a she a she is good actually".
Therefore, 2/3 of redditors are subhuman and need to be liquidated. But we already knew that.
Yeah, agreed, everyone except the "prosecuting children for calling a she a she is good actually", theyre based

How much more time we think we got on this whole American Hegemony thing?
Because that generation is probably going to be the one that really fucks things up.
At least the emos and goths could take a fucking insult.
Our memes are too potent. We will infect China before we destroy ourselves. The whole world with us.
This is true, America is the root of all evil

I don't really remember people being as soft as this.
I remember teenagers being soft, histrionic, and whiny, but adults were like "lol grow up and deal with it"
I guess some of them seethed about it for over a decade rather than learning any lessons, and decided the world should be exactly like them.
This is the honest truth, and also why capeshit is the most popular media.

Between the masks and the gender bullshit, today's school children are going to be extremely disturbed after high school.
As horrible as the cold-war, WW2, etc all were, they seemed to represent valuable lessons in human history that brought about valuable cultural shifts that in the end brought some fraction of collective enlightenment.
Then at some point in the nineties the world flipped and now every major conflict, strife, or cultural discourse seems to make us more fucking r-slurred than the last.
We need another war. Let's pick an Asian or Latinx American country to invade.

I've never been so happy I grew up playing in rusted junkyards and throwing bricks at cars. Unironically healthier than spending your whole childhood glued to a phone.
Once I have kids I'm not letting them on the internet unsupervised until they're 65. It's just too dangerous.

I feel bad for these kids. Having talked to some of them, it seems as though they are surrounded by wingcucks, too afraid to say anything that can be seen as offensive, and constantly having to deal with outr-slurring each other on social media. They don’t have time to be kids and do dumb things.
It looks like hell honestly, and like you said, all the adults around them have abdicated all responsibility and authority
