As long as every item gets scanned, what's the problem? Dude is way out of line and this needs to go up the chain. But... I just gotta say .. buying that many cases that often is wild to me. It's your money to spend how you please, but you leave other collectors (casual or super into it) empty handed. Then you sell the pieces for inflated prices on Mercari... All because someone couldn't make it to the cases faster than you? You're selling the yellow bellied slider turtle for $80 ?!?! Just yuck. All those cases and all those sets sitting in your house (~1200 Mercari listings) collecting dust could have been enjoyed by so many different people in your area. But nope. You're reselling for insane price gouging amounts and justifying it because you bought them for Instagram content? (90)
Basedness: ๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ฅ๐๐
Yeah... I'm really sympathetic because absolutely no one should be treated like this, but I'm so bummed hearing this is kind of the standard collector/reseller practices. Someone has been cleaning out all the targets in my area like this, buying everything new by the case, which means casual collectors with not a lot of money like me just don't even get a chance at the new stuff. Dang, I looked through their Mercari, and they sold the goldfish one for $120 (but still have another for $145) and the promo espresso (the one on the box) without resin for $13. I don't think ANYONE should lay hands on anyone, but are these toys really bringing out this kind of behavior from employees and OP? Absolutely no one looks good here. (34)

Lmao... You're so unhinged. Maybe sell it at a normal price? Donate it? Run a free craft pop up using your ~1200 listings for kids in your community? Maybe try not to be such a massive over consumer buying entire cases? I couldn't even "do the work" if I wanted to because you bought all the darn product ๐คฃ๐คฃYou're trying to get sympathy posting this everywhere you can... And I hope that in each place, your shady habits get called out or people point them to these comments (20)

.... You do realize when they first come out that you don't know what's in the case until you've bought a full one right...?And to actually get a good average on the weights that I gave out for free for years to help people avoid buying doubles who don't have the money to spend on a ton of collectibles.... That I often bought at least two or three cases so that I could be sure that my weights were accurate.... But... Yeah, I totally see how that's super selfish...It's not like everything I'm saying is completely provable by going back and looking at years of my history on Instagram... (-15)

Back a few years ago when praying to God, I told him directly that if anyone ends up in heck undeservingly which is a concept that I cannot justify with a just and loving God then I would go there myself, since then I have been exploring the truth about the religion and quite frankly, knowing that I am darned does give me to freedom to actually explore the religion and discover the truth about it free of Church dogma.
This is what Catholics believe, Jesus sacrificed himself for our sins and went down to heck, I don't believe or agree with the concept of Heck and if he did, then it's my duty as a Christian to follow Jesus and do the same.
The Crucifixarion reflects the scapegoat ritual in Leviticus.
In the Bible, a scapegoat is one of a pair of kid goats that is released into the wilderness, taking with it all sins and impurities, while the other is sacrificed. The concept first appears in the Book of Leviticus, in which a goat is designated to be cast into the desert to carry away the sins of the community.
Jesus was the scapegoat.
First you should accept that Lucifer and Satan are two different beings, Satan is presented as having goat horns as symbolism because of the scapegoat ritual.
Isaiah 14:12-17
Revelation 22:16
2 Peter 1:19 the word Lucifer is used to refer to Jesus in the Latin Vulgate.
You shouldn't be afraid of heck. The real heck is living your life with the fear of heck.

A Northern California school administrator who lost a city post four years ago over controversial Covid remarks was accused of workplace bullying for putting a subordinate's desk on a roof, officials said Thursday.
The allegations against Kenneth Turnage II, director of maintenance, operations and facilities at the Antioch Unified School District, could end up costing his boss, Superintendent Stephanie Anello, her job.
The incident happened last year when Turnage allegedly had subordinate Jim Kesser's desk moved on top of a maintenance yard structure, NBC Bay Area reported.
Kesser told the station the incident was meant to humiliate him because he questioned his own qualifications to perform a task that Turnage had assigned.
Several other district employees told NBC Bay Area that Turnage is a well-known bully who benefits from being close friends with Anello, the superintendent, and her husband, the city's former police chief.
School board President Antonio Hernandez said he'll call for a special trustees meeting as early as Friday night to seek Anello's removal.
โI do not support the superintendent,โ Hernandez told NBC News on Thursday. โI think this incident and the stories of these brave maintenance workers, who stood up in public to share their stories and trauma, shows the poor judgment of our superintendent to keep this person in place.โ
Another school board member, Jag Lathan, declined to reveal Thursday whether she wants Anello out. But she made it clear that Turnage's alleged action was beyond the pale.
โWhen I found out, I was horrified. That was unacceptable,โ Lathan said. โWhat I can tell you is that school district culture and climate matter. If our staff feels unsafe, that's unacceptable.โ
Turnage, Anello and Anello's husband โ former Antioch Police Chief Allan Cantando โ did not immediately reply to messages seeking comment Thursday.
When an NBC Bay Area reporter questioned Anello during the public comments part of a board meeting this month, she remained awkwardly silent for a minute and did not answer any queries about Turnage.
Four years ago, when he was chairman of Antioch's planning commission, Turnage made national headlines with Facebook comments about Covid-19 at the peak of the pandemic.
He said permitting illness to spread "allows the sick, the old, the injured to meet its natural course in nature.โ
And if the virus had an impact on homeless people, at least that would "fix what is a significant burden on our society and resources that can be used,โ he said.
Turnage deleted the Facebook post after public outcry but refused to resign. The Antioch City Council voted unanimously to remove his as planning commission chairman over the remarks.
Turnage made $78,741 in base pay in his current job with the school district in 2022, the latest data reported by Transparent California, a database of public employees' compensation. Anello made $307,094.82 in base pay in 2022, according to the database.

โYou'll be alright. Just stop squirming honey, lay still,โ Orpah said.
Samson lay on his back on the hot rocks beside the rugged rock path of Sonder Mountain. The sun was flaming intensely, laying a blanket of heavy heat over them. His leg was bent awkwardly, unnaturally, so much so that a lick of the white of his bone could be seen through his shin.
โCalm down honey,โ Orpah soothed him, leaning the water flask into his mouth.
The yelling had stopped. Samson had screamed and yelled in pain until his vocal cords were bloody. It was obvious that there was no one else on the path, and with nighttime fast approaching, unlikely it was that the situation would flip. Orpah took off her top, leaving her in just her skimpy white vest, before soaking it in water and laying it over Samson's forehead. The sky was a deep shade of orange. It would have been quite beautiful to look at if the situation was different, less dire perhaps. Orpah knew she would be able to find help at the bottom of Sonder Mountain. But that was easily a three-hour hike, and with night looming over them, she couldn't risk leaving Samson at the mercy of the coyotes. Not while his leg dripped blood and he dipped in out of consciousness, driven hysterical from pain. So she remained at his side, lovingly combing her fingers through his long hair as she tended to his needs.
โThey'll notice we aren't there at dinner and come out looking for us. I'll start a small fire to make us a tad more visible,โ Orpah said.
Samson gritted some form of acknowledgment through his gritted teeth. His face was almost as pale as his knuckles. Pain like this, it was nothing he ever felt before. It had him contemplating death, wondering whether a life with this amount of agony was one worth cherishing, worth fighting for. Was death not void of all such suffering? But he held on to life, if only for Orpah and her beautiful face, the love she evoked within him, and the tenderness of her touch.
โGoโฆ findโฆ help,โ Samson managed to utter without opening his jaw.
Orpah looked up at him.
โLight the fireโฆ and go find helpโฆ it'll keep theโฆ coyotes away,โ Samson explained.
โAre you sure?โ Orpah asked.
Samson nodded. His leg had gone numb from the pain. The feeling of being stabbed over and over again was so consistent it had become a non-factor, like when noise is so ceaseless it becomes soothing or when you wear your glasses for so long you forget they're on. The first few stars twinkled in the sky which was slowly turning from orange to black. Orpah reached into her backpack and pulled out a box of long matchsticks. The trail was mostly stones and sand, but Orpah managed to gather enough sticks to start a sizeable flame. She cordoned it off with a few rocks, kissed Samson on the forehead, and headed down the trail.
โI'll be back as fast as I can,โ Orpah said.
The smoke from the flame was serpent-like, the wisps slithering sinisterly. Every moment remaining in consciousness was a conscientious effort. He was glad for the flame. The air had suddenly gone from sweltering to chilly which only made the pain worse. Suddenly he felt the ground shake. He wasn't sure at first; it was as subtle as can be. But it grew and grew until it was an undeniable tremor, as if a giant was walking in the vicinity. Samson didn't have to wonder too much before the source made itself known. A kangaroo hopped out from behind a rock. It was purple and had a flame on the tip of its tail.
โWhat the everloving frick are you?โ Samson said aloud in fear, โwhat in the frick is that?โ
The kangaroo looked at him, tilted its head, and smiled. About twenty crabs crawled out its pouch and scattered all over. The kangaroo stretched in relief. Samson tried to crawl away but failed. The kangaroo was still towering over him.
โI done carried them from Jupiter. Nasty lil buggers, those claws are nothing to be ignorin',โ the kangaroo said in a raspy voice.
โWhat the actual frick is going on?โ was all Samson could manage.
โS'pose now is a good a time as any for an explanation. My name is, well I aint got a name. No need for those on the dimensional plane I'm from. I've taken this form because your puny mind would never understand my true form,โ it continued raspily.
Samson blinked hard twice. He was convinced this was some kind of hallucination, his mind playing tricks on him, insanity brought on by dehydration and deliria.
โI am the bringer of the gift of death. You can do nothing to earn it, nothing to lose it but like any other gift, you may decline it,โ the kangaroo continued, but this time in a different voice like a lady.
โHow do I know you're real?โ Samson managed to ask.
The kangaroo paused for a while, thought, and then answered.
โOn the sixteenth of December your wife Orpah was asleep and you wanted a sandwich. You were too lazy to make it yourself so you opened a jar of Nutella and ate directly from it, you ate it all Samson, all. You got sick the next day and denied eating it. You told Orpah that from the bottom of your heart you didn't do it. But you did,โ the kangaroo said in a different voice yet again.
It was as though the kangaroo was having great fun altering its voice each time. Perhaps more out of embarrassment than anything else Samson admitted to himself that indeed the kangaroo was not a figment of his imagination. The entire situation fell into the category of โtoo strange to be fiction'.
โSoโฆ am I dead?โ Samson asked tentatively.
โOnly if you want to be,โ the kangaroo replied casually.
Samson lowered his eyebrow, his forehead creased. He was flummoxed.
โDeath is a gift, as I have said. You can accept it or reject it,โ the kangaroo explained.
He held his long tail in his hand, swinging it around casually.
โAnd, uhm, if I choose death? What would happen, I'm not saying that's what I want, but if I did choose death, what would happen next?โ Samson asked, making very sure to emphasise that he wasn't asking for death.
โI don't know. I've never died. I'm only the collector of souls. I can tell what will happen if you choose life though,โ the kangaroo said.
Samson shrugged.
โOh c'mon, the same old,โ said the kangaroo, โpain, misery, discontent, disappointment. Amidst it all a few moments of love and happiness. I've seen a lot of lives in my job. No matter where you are, how you live, it's always the same. Just a different variety of it.โ
Samson paused for a while. He had forgotten about his broken leg, something that tends to happen when you have a kangaroo from the realm of death before you. A sly thought crept in his mind.
โYou said that death is a gift, right?โ Samson queried.
โIndeed.โ
โThen, like any other gift, I could pass it on, couldn't I?โ
โI s'pose.โ
โThen I give my gift to Orpah,โ Samson said resolutely.
The kangaroo looked at him, vexed.
โYour own wife? Well that's certainly a new one,โ the kangaroo said.
โIf death truly is a gift, I would not want my last action to be something as selfish as running away from the strife of the world. If my wife takes it, I will know she loved death more than I. If she rejects the gift, then this will be a life worth living. I don't know, it makes sense in my head,โ explained Samson.
โVery well then.โ
And the kangaroo stuck its purple hands out, waved them and uttered a magical spell. The sky lit up in a million colours. And then the kangaroo was gone. Samson lay there in the darkness of the night with only the flickering of the flames as his company. No one came until morning when the mountain ranger came around for his morning route. In a state of semi-consciousness, all Samson remembered was being lifted up and put into the back of a pickup truck. He swung in and out of consciousness and found himself on a soft bed, his leg raised in a cast in some sort of log cabin. The ranger and Orpah stood over him.
โHe almost died,โ he heard the ranger say.
โOh my poor honey,โ Orpah said, โI'm so grateful you saved him. How can I ever show my gratitude?โ
โWell there is one way,โ he heard the ranger say smugly.
A bit of whispering and a bit of giggling and Samson heard the sound of something oddly similar to the clank of a metal belt buckle hitting the ground. They left the room.
Samson wanted his gift back.

I (28m) don't like to tease or make jabs at people. It's always felt mean or rude to me. But apparently, that seems to be the norm in my social circles. Anytime I've tried to, people find it off putting or that I'm being kind of a peepee. I don't have much success with forming new acquaintances or friendships because I don't like to do any of those things. Does anyone else feel the same or am I alone in this?

Google fires 28 employees involved in sit-in protest over $1.2B Israel contract
Google has fired 28 employees over their participation in a 10-hour sit-in at the search giant's offices in New York and Sunnyvale, California, to protest the company's $1.2 billion cloud contract with Israel, The Post has learned.
The pro-Palestinian staffers โ who had donned traditional Arab headscarves as they stormed and occupied the office of a top executive in California on Tuesday โ were terminated late Wednesday after an internal investigation, Google vice president of global security Chris Rackow said said in a companywide memo.
โThey took over office spaces, defaced our property, and physically impeded the work of other Googlers,โ Rackow wrote in the memo obtained by The Post. โTheir behavior was unacceptable, extremely disruptive, and made co-workers feel threatened.โ
โBehavior like this has no place in our workplace and we will not tolerate it. It clearly violates multiple policies that all employees must adhere to โ including our code of conduct and policy on harassment, discrimination, retaliation, standards of conduct, and workplace concerns.โ
Rackow added that the company โtakes this extremely seriously, and we will continue to apply our longstanding policies to take action against disruptive behavior โ up to and including termination.โ
The staffers are affiliated with a group called No Tech For Apartheid, which has been critical of Google's response to the Israel-Hamas war.
The protesters have demanded that Google pull out of a $1.2 billion โProject Nimbusโ contract โ in which Google Cloud and Amazon Web Services provide cloud-computing and artificial intelligence services for the Israeli government and military.
The group had posted several videos and livestreams of the protests on its X account โ including the exact moment that employees were issued final warnings and arrested by local police for trespassing.
The impacted workers blasted Google over the firings in a statement shared by No Tech For Apartheid spokesperson Jane Chung.
โThis evening, Google indiscriminately fired 28 workers, including those among us who did not directly participate in yesterday's historic, bicoastal 10-hour sit-in protests,โ the workers said in the statement.
โThis flagrant act of retaliation is a clear indication that Google values its $1.2 billion contract with the genocidal Israeli government and military more than its own workers โ the ones who create real value for executives and shareholders.โ
โSundar Pichai and Thomas Kurian are genocide profiteers,โ the statement added, referring to Google's CEO and the CEO of its cloud unit, respectively.
โWe cannot comprehend how these men are able to sleep at night while their tech has enabled 100,000 Palestinians killed, reported missing, or wounded in the last six months of Israel's genocide โ and counting.โ
An NYPD spokesperson said the Tuesday protest โinvolved approximately 50 participantsโ in total and confirmed โfour arrests were made for trespassing inside the Google building.โ
The Sunnyvale Department of Public Safety said the protest in California โconsisted of around 80 participants.โ A total of five protesters who refused to leave the Google office were โarrested without incident for criminal trespassing,โ booked and released, a spokesperson added.
It couldn't immediately be learned if all nine arrested employees were among those who were fired. Google had earlier placed the employees on administrative leave and cut their access to internal systems.
Last month, Google fired a software engineer who publicly blasted one of the company's Israel-based executives during a tech conference in New York City.
[cont.]
When reached for comment, a Google spokesperson confirmed the firings.
โThese protests were part of a longstanding campaign by a group of organizations and people who largely don't work at Google,โ the spokesperson said in a statement.
โA small number of employee protesters entered and disrupted a few of our locations. Physically impeding other employees' work and preventing them from accessing our facilities is a clear violation of our policies, and completely unacceptable behavior.โ
โWe have so far concluded individual investigations that resulted in the termination of employment for 28 employees, and will continue to investigate and take action as needed,โ the spokesperson added.
Critics at the company raised concerns that the technology would be weaponized against Palestinians in Gaza.
The demonstrators stormed the personal office of Google Cloud CEO Thomas Kurian in Sunnyvale.
Kurian's custom-made, framed Golden State Warriors jersey was visible on the office wall in the background of the livestream, and employees wrote a list of their demands on his white board.
The pro-Palestinian employees, who are affiliated with a group called No Tech For Apartheid, posted several videos and livestreams of the protests โ including the moment they were issued final warnings and arrested by local police for trespassing.
The companywide memo can be read in its entirety below.
Googlers,
You may have seen reports of protests at some of our offices yesterday. Unfortunately, a number of employees brought the event into our buildings in New York and Sunnyvale. They took over office spaces, defaced our property, and physically impeded the work of other Googlers. Their behavior was unacceptable, extremely disruptive, and made co-workers feel threatened. We placed employees involved under investigation and cut their access to our systems. Those who refused to leave were arrested by law enforcement and removed from our offices.
Following investigation, today we terminated the employment of twenty-eight employees found to be involved. We will continue to investigate and take action as needed.
Behavior like this has no place in our workplace and we will not tolerate it. It clearly violates multiple policies that all employees must adhere to โ including our Code of Conduct and Policy on Harassment, Discrimination, Retaliation, Standards of Conduct, and Workplace Concerns.
We are a place of business and every Googler is expected to read our policies and apply them to how they conduct themselves and communicate in our workplace. The overwhelming majority of our employees do the right thing. If you're one of the few who are tempted to think we're going to overlook conduct that violates our policies, think again. The company takes this extremely seriously, and we will continue to apply our longstanding policies to take action against disruptive behavior โ up to and including termination.
You should expect to hear more from leaders about standards of behavior and discourse in the workplace.
Chris
