Everyone saying CICO is correct but if that’s you and you don’t know how to cook I don’t think it’s gonna work for you.
Honestly check out /r/fasting. I agree eating salads is lame as frick so just don’t eat anything. You have a gajillion calories saved up for energy and you’ll be surprised how you really won’t feel hungry anymore after a point. The subreddit has information on how to still get electrolytes so you won’t feel low energy or lightheaded.
Start by switching to intermittent fasting by skipping breakfast to where you only eat lunch and an early dinner. Then eventually switch to just eating one meal a day (OMAD). Eventually you will be able to push it further and do what they call rolling 48 hour fasts where say you eat dinner Monday night / fast all day Tuesday and then dinner Wednesday ect. This will allow you to lose weight without needing to exercise and save a ton of money
