RGB staying on the court until her last breath was pretty darn stupid of her. She should have bowed out well within Obamas presidency so she could have been replaced by a reasonable person.
This doesnt invalidate all the great things shes done, but clutching onto power way past her time is the one thing we shouldnt celebrate her for.

No, actually frick Ruth. She stayed on the court until her last breath because she wanted to. She fully believed that SC justices should serve until death. Her ego and hubris wouldn't allow her to be replaced when it mattered. In her last months she officiated a wedding during the height of a pandemic and undergoing chemo. The weight of the nation and her own darn legacy on the line and she still plays with fire like that. Her hubris cost us dearly...
I'm not voting for her, I'm voting in spite of her and for my own self interests.
