It was only put in place for the DSM 5 which is why that language is so new and being applied to everything. Idiots decided it was better to have everything be on a spectrum then it made things easier to explain lol. Now we got this.

Honestly, is this kind of life worth it? Even strags go through life wondering if they're masculine/feminine enough and now we have a gen of tards who are transitioning to another gender and most likely won't get anything more than backhanded compliments. As with everything with this question, it depends on who you ask. I believe there are happy and cute, valid ones out there who are just regular people. I also have seen that many people who take on this behaviour and it ruins them, or they were already ruined lol. The mind is mysterious, but it seems fair to say that for most people transitioning to another gender, it is not worth it for them in the sense that transitioning makes their life better. Most seem miserable and inconsolable, either in spite of or because of the considerable $$$$ that gets spent on their research and treatments.

The ones who obsess over passing are never happy. Just like people with body dysmorphia. I think the only ones who can be happy are the ones who only dress cute for themselves and don't care about changing their physical body or how society views them.
