I do my best to live my life by the good book, but as God only made me human, I occasionally stumble and fall. Several weeks ago I was having a beer and shooting pool at the local watering hole and got to chatting with a pretty waitress. One thing lead to another and by the time the sun came up we had become sinners in the eyes of the good lord. But then a miracle happened. A few weeks later she got in touch with me to tell me we had conceived and brought life to the world. Butβ¦ she told me that it was her wish to terminate the pregnancy, on account that I am unemployed and she makes a very meager salary. I objected of course but she persisted and has scheduled the abortion procedure for next week. She has asked me to give her a ride to the clinic on the day of the procedure because she does not want anyone else to get word of this, and I agreed to. Would it be unethical by bounty hunting standards if I were to haul her from the clinic directly to the county sheriff? It feels like a bit of a betrayal of her trust be at the same time itβs her body and her choice and she has made the choice to take life away from the living.
