Bruh coffee comes under food. Plus if its for a few hours and if you can afford it then yeah you offer food.

Even just a "help yourself to whatever in the fridge" is all you need

this is just northern mayo nonsense. southern euro bipocs aren't as unwelcoming and neurodivergent as the scandis

Most people I have visited do offer food and beverages so I'm not even sure who they're asking, maybe people from Oslo.
Maybe you hobos should get a job instead of leaching off other people's hard work?

idk, i think it depends, offering drinks isn't out of the ordinary, but food? no way, nothing more than maybe some snack items at the very most.

the comments here are making me go crazy lmao. the dramanauts are seriously arguing that you should give somebody who pops by outside lunch hours fricking food in the first 5 mins they are there. I mean if I am hungry I ill ask my friend for food and he will be happy to give lol

No one is saying you offer them a full course meal outside lunch/dinner hours, you neurodivergent. You simply ask them if they are hungry and grab them a snack if they are otherwise you invite them to dinner/lunch if you are about to eat. Scandicels are so subhuman, they tell kids to watch them eat dinner whilst over at their house during dinner time.

This is about offering someone a meal - like a sandwich or dinner, not snacks and beverages. Snacks and beverages aren't food, food is food you fricking fat lard burger, and it's very strange to offer someone food unless you're also having food

Snacks are food
Saying snacks don't count as food is almost as dumb as the guy further up the thread who said coffee counts as food

it's not weird to me at all. some people would offer food like that, some wouldn't, but i'd consider those stingy swedes. my family would always offer our guests coffee or food or something, but we're now snowmonkeys so

Yeah tbh I'd be too awkward to take anything in that scenario too. But typically people here offer fries or cookies or something when guests arrive.

Guests go into the fridge for food at my house all the time. If i dont get around to them I have to throw the leftovers in the outside trash though. Too smelly
