It's so weird. I've had this discussion with so many people who just refuse to accept that people aren't serious. I've noticed it more and more recently and it's frustrating to see. Like there are times where satire is difficult to distinguish but these posts were so over the top that... I don't know.

Like one of the titles started with "FWD: FWD:" or whatever lol

In a world were satire is usually marked with /s, it is only natural your bullshit detector will atrophy.

It was somewhat easier before to know when it came more from professional comedians/satirists, but the explosion of satire provided by the internet hasn't helped. People picked up pretty quickly that it's more economically/politically expedient to not question it.
