Jfc bro literally made it two sentences before he decided it was the orange man who destroyed the journos' credibility.

As much as we (appropriately) shit on ourselves about Rightoid agendaposting this sort of post is a legitimately good take. rDrama occasionally attracts some smart people. You don't have to be a rightoid to see through these paper thin retroactive excuses pushed by the media.

Imagine congress trying to justify their perpetual 10% rating? You can be sure it would be packed full of 10yr child level excuses like this one.

It takes some arabs to hit NYC in order for people to respect the most basic politician in America. But when the journo's uncritically protects their bullshit (and the bullshit fed via federal agencies) like it's their own children it's oh-so-surprising when people start questioning the value of NYT/WaPo/New Yorker/Time/The Atlantic/etc to be the "defenders of democracy".

Who needs objective truth when you're on the right side of history?

It's funny that he would jump to trump because he's one president too late.

Obama broke the media. They were so thrilled to have a smooth talking basketball as president, they decided he could do no wrong. Remember when they went to bat for him on the claim that he had a scandal free presidency? Completely absurd. They destroyed their own credibility during those eight years making the clear decision to abandon objectivity and become state propaganda. Orange man simply called them on it.

Journ*lists do have an agenda. Obviously, now more than ever. And, just as obviously, that agenda makes them untrustworthy.

Money to subsidize American college kids going to international student events, art exhibitions, etc. passed through the CIA. They didn't tell anyone what to say or do. Obviously the communists were paying their kids to go to these events and telling them exactly what to say and do. Like all the other shocking revelations of the 1960s, this was something the president had ordered them to do.

The horror. CIA interviews certain Americans returning from abroad and asks if they had any information they'd like to share. Does anybody think that Britain, France, Sweden, etc. doesn't do this? Why would this even be controversial? You want to see something dirty, look at how France set up MSF in the 1960s to smuggle weapons into Nigeria for them.

What the frick would the issue be with journ*lists other than the risk of them getting subverted to write propaganda? This f-slur doesn't want to tell you the real reason why they forced the CIA to stop talking to journos. It was so that the journos could operate in communist countries without being harassed by their security services. It was all about making their lives easier and more comfortable.

Then he goes on to say that the hippies rioting at the Democratic National Convention in 1968 would have been really popular if the media was just more biased in their favor.

Rightoids, when you believe all the shit you hear about how horrible the glowies were in the 1950s-1960s, remember who made it up. You're on the side of the communists, the queers with gonorrhea, the long-haired freaks, the potheads, the Grateful Dead fans.
