Plus all the tax arguments start to make less sense when the biggest potential tax contributing immigrants (university grads) don't like the idea of living in a country that's chasing away job opportunities and letting housing be bought up by foreign entities to pay for their increasingly expensive welfare state.

It is possible to have too much of a good thing. Very few Canadians are truly anti-immigrant, but with the numbers proposed by the current Government it feels like our services & infrastructure will buckle under that many people per year without significant investment, which we’re not really seeing.:
