Pretty sure the earthquake in Turkey was created by NATO using an underground nuke

I initially laughed at the idea of a CIA earthquake gun but then I used my gigantic brain and thought for a second and came to the conclusion that with some kind of drilling device (which doesn't dig a tunnel but just displaces dirt and digs deep) and a hydrogen bomb it might actually be possible to artificially create an earthquake.

Turkey has been being a bit of a BIPOC recently by blocking glorious NATO expansion but now suddenly they are going to need to get on their knees for that aid money due to this "natural" disaster

Quite the coincidence

I think thats more to hide the double flash and spread of radiation, but sure

Soil does an excellent job of hiding radiation

i meant the cloud, specifically. i dont think it does well with hiding the signature of a nuke.

Soviets actually used nukes to clear dirt https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nuclear_Explosions_for_the_National_Economy

Americans did too, but less so, I think https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Project_Plowshare

No one knew what they were doing with nukes. Look at the time we blew up a nuke next to some boats and were surprised the sailors got irradiated lol

What is unbothered by thermonuclear explosions? That's right, roaches. Even if this is true I see no issue here.

Hey I noticed that you commented on my post but did not upvote it

Not only does this hurt me, it hurts you, because your comment will get less exposure, and you will get less dramacoin.

I'm sure this was just an honest (and stupid) mistake but please do better. Go back and hit the upvotes button. Now. Once you have done that I might consider gracing your moronic comment with an insightful response.

Underground nukes are pretty detectable afaik. I don't know how feasible drilling without tunnel is, in topsoil maybe but deeper than that it's much harder.

It's literally just a big drill tho I bet it's not that hard

Jump in the discussion.

I dont think you can actually go too deep. The deepest hole is only like 40,000 feet. The drill melts and the huke would have issues before that.

That's a hole though. A hole is a lot more difficult than a drill that just moves the dirt behind itself, because you have to pull the dirt all the way out. The only problem I really see is power supply. This earthquake was only 2.8 km deep that seems easily attainable.

The issue is the drill tip melts iirc. We already have a lot of trouble making large holes that aren't that deep (see the seattle boring company shit), I don't see how you could covertly do this, and you'd need to use an already active fault line which probably has additional problems

Diamond drill. Titanium. Make it move kinda slowly.

The Seattle boring company was trying to dig a tunnel which is completely different. This is just a digging machine with a payload.

There's tons of desert to do this covertly.

I think you are wrong. Seems simple enough to me.

You need the drilling to be nearish to something that matters. If you wanted to make an earthquake in japan, you wouldn't have a random desert to work in. It also takes a lot of equipment to do. You cant just make a autonomous drill and let it go for months. I'm sure you could research the issues since you're going to encounter the same ones as making boreholes or oil wells. The super deep russian borehole had a lot of issues and it's only 9in wide. Also I take issue with saying you could just make a drill and not need a tunnel behind it. As you already mentioned, there's issues with power supply, and even going diagonally, I assume there would be some problems with pressure. You're effectively just going to make a borehole, in the end.

Not to say it couldn't be done semi-covertly, look at the special crane-boat we built to pick up a soviet sub one time https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Project_Azorian

It's a fault line it goes for a long ways it's a very large target

Since their already going nuclear it could have a nuclear reactor or something attached to it I don't know but we are talking about very sophisticated top secret hardware it could have some wild power source we can't even dream of

Or maybe it just has a very durable cord lol displacing dirt from the front to the back might not even frick that up if it spools from the device

You think, we know you're wrong r-slur. No mountain lion seeing Motherlover. It physically isn't possible, like pushing water up a tube more than 10 feet, it starts boiling

Look you r-slurred cute twink mountain lions are hard to spot and while it is blatantly obvious George was here for a while it seems he hasn't been back yet

Also you have no idea what the capacities of our government are in secret. The drilling device itself is trivial and figuring out how to place it and beginning digging in Turkey wherever the frick on the fault line would also be easy as frick. You are being naive and stupid if you don't think we are capable of this. You are a dumb count. A sub 50 IQ neanderthal. You have the imagination of a hermit crab. The vision of a one eyed goat. Not only is this feasible but it is very likely and if you ever come in my thread and talk to me like this again I'm going to kill your mom and r*pe your dad.
