I usually really like this subreddit, especially the LGBT group pings, but recently, something a little confusing happened and I'm wondering if I could get your guys' input...
I made a comment saying that trans women should boymode until we pass, which I realize could be controversial, but is still something I sincerely believe is best for the trans community... What I didn't expect is to have my comment removed by the moderators for bigotry (presumably against my own demographic...)
Am I off base here...? Is that idea genuinely transphobic?

I mean... Racism exists, prejudice exists, stereotypes exist. You're not really helping end racism by sitting on your porch all day, shirtless with pants hanging from your thighs, doing crack or flaunting guns or whatever the stereotypes of black people is. While it may be unfortunate that people will associate that with being black and not with just being an butthole, we gotta be pragmatic, no? It's unfortunate that racism exists, but it will always exist. You may not be able to end it but you sure as heck can change people's mind and stop new racists from being born.
