are you using gimp? gif's are literally just layers presented in sequential order. You set the framerate and whether you overwrite the previous frame or start with a fresh slate for each transition.
Alternatively, if you want me to do it, I can animate shit for you because I took the time to learn it. Really all the work is in making the different frames, as mom pointed out.

Im using picsart. You kinda can make gifs in it too I guess, but I never really tried. My only attempt is this:

never heard of it, but the concept is the same. If not, it's one of the easier parts of gimp. It's a pain in the butt just because you need to make all the frames. Like in this one, I would have probably taken more time to do the blood than the head part. The head stuff is easy because those are just translations and rotations of an existing asset cut from the original picture. The blood has to either be adapted from existing assets or drawn from scratch, like I assume it was here.

Paint.net is a great mid-level editor, It's a lot like photoshop 2 (which you can get for free because they released a permanent key for it), but gimp and real PS have many more tools ultimately (while also being a pain in the butt to learn). My work got Affinity's suite of Adobe like products recently which are a lot more reasonable than Adobe prices (I think individual licenses are like one time 40 bucks vs Adobe making you do the monthly shit). I haven't used their photoshop alternative yet, but their illustrator alternative is pretty much the same for what I do, at least.

Yeah paint.net is enough for what I do, which ultimately isnt much, mostly stupid edits to inside jokes photos or a new profile pics for steam or similar. I can totally imagine the more advanced tools being a pain in the butt to learn, which is also the main reason for me not using them, lol...

This one was super easy but anything with moving angles is hard. The carp cutting one, for example, was really hard and I never got all the bugs out.
I do a lot of art irl so I picked it up pretty easily on Procreate which lets you hand draw animations like the looney toons era. Por ejamplo:
It honestly takes hours to make a gif but it's pretty easy to figure it out imo. Like this one was a lot of just copy/paste and rotate. Pretty sure Photoshop accommodates that but I haven't messed with it.

My only artistic experience is scribbling marseys on my phone, but maybe Ill try making gifs at some point. Seems a bit too advanced for now tho

Picsart and picsart color are pretty good apps for painting on the phone, certainly enough for some basic marseys. Advanced stuff would probably be harder though.

Tbh I found using my phone for basic stuff like marseys easier than doing it on pc with a mouse, because you can 'draw' directly on the touchscreen. Zooming in helps of course. And most of the marseys are pretty much just edits from existing ones, not drawn from scratch, which makes it easier on phone too.

"Prank," my butt. This was a legitimate attempt to rip off a bunch of Bronies by Sam Hyde and the other unfunny manbabies over at Million Dollar Extreme. there are screenshots of Hyde and his cronies gloating, with Hyde in particular planning to pay his rent and alimony. They thought they could rip off Bronies because no one would care or come to their aid. Claiming this was a "prank" and not a full-on scam that was found out and fell through is revisionist as frick.
