Two of the leading coaches were 90 seating capacity, general coaches. Half the train, 12 coaches were derailed so probably also some deaths in rear coaches from bad falls/shrapnel.
A third train was involved so if it hit some coaches too that'd explain it as well. We need a dedicated freight corridor for the east coast tbh there's too many track chokepoints.
