I wish more people thought like this. People can change, you're not one way for your entire existence. In 2014 I was teetering on the edge of falling down the alt-right rabbit hole and listening to Peterson/Shabibo (cringe, shame, oof) and now I'm literally a trans socialist.

Basing your entire identity around youtube/internet nonsense and politics has devastated this generation.

did you know Brianna Wu is trans herself? Truly a under-rated passer queen. She uses fatmaxxing and aisan androgynous maxxing to great extent.

Oh sure, but when I say it I get banned.

I am a queer, trans, working woman, a Marxist-Leninist, a breathless political zealot, and a tired old woman. I am the world's foreleast expert on trans representation in film.

My preferred kinds of films include queer and trans cinema, quiet art films, experimental feminist films, slashers, gialli, 70s exploitation stuff, bright happy movies, 90s teen angst, neon 80s stuff, melodrama, terrible romcoms, LA Rebellion films, cinema from oppressed nations, anti-imperialist films, pro-worker films, films by women, 60s musicals, Spice World, weepies, feelgood women's films, mysteries, and things that look pretty.

I am an organizer with the Workers Voice Socialist Movement. Though the opinions I express here in this blog are a reflection of the political education I receive from that group, my writing has not been reviewed by my comrades and should not be taken to necessarily reflect the views of the group. Why did you block me?

You insulted me (a sure sign your engagement is not in good faith). You tried to defend a something abhorrent, like genocide, imperialism, pedophilia, r*pe, etc. Or you just outstayed your welcome. While it is the task of any revolutionary to educate the rest of the working class, online discourse has limits. While in the past I have been quicker to block than I am today, I still get frustrated relatively quickly because of the long history of harassment I have experienced on this site and others.

Where did you watch that film?

Why don't you talk about the film instead of your personal stories or politics?

I do talk about the films I watch. All the time. Sometimes I contextualize them with other information. "Theme" is part of a movie.

All art is political. What you think of as apolitical art upholds the status quo, which is, under capitalism, a right-wing hellscape.
