It's a twitter clone (as he claimed) with apparent emphasis on being able to make chats and group chats to talk about things without making tweet storms that clutter everything. He also mentioned once it would be similar to facebook in some way. Possibly when you click their profile it will be much more detailed like facebook?

This has become just a bigger and bigger problem with idiots tbh. They have some weird perception of how things work, and when that perception is clearly in conflict with what the data says, they assume it's the data that's wrong, not their perceptions.
It is pretty uncontroversial that conservatives dominate social media:
All of the biggest political pundits on social media are conservatives, a fact that is in conflict with the idea conservatives are somehow censored on social media:
This has become a very effective talking point for conservatives, which depend on eternal victimhood to justify their extremism, but it's just not reality.
For example:
in the top 5 most engaged publishers on FB, 3 are conservative. And keep in mind this is mainstream publishers - when you start injecting fake news/conspiracy theory outlets, it's even more dominated by conservatives.
