I hate the way extremist wingcucks always defend the most awful people because of tribalism. Like do you remember when all the moronic BLM activists decided to circle the wagons and defend Jussie Smollett even though it was obvious to anybody with half a brain that Jussie was guilty as frick? I feel like this is the right-wing equivalent of that. When you see a man literally getting murdered on live TV and make excuses for it because the murderer happens to be on your political team, then you have lost the plot and deserve to go straight to heck

I saw a knee, I saw a neck, I saw pressure being applied. And it was completely unnecessary, especially after George Floyd said he couldn't breathe and was lying face-down on the ground.
It doesn't matter whether George was on fent: he was a U.S. citizen and nobody deserves to have their legal rights violated just because you think they're one of the bad people, whatever the frick "bad people" consist of in Current Year. The definition seems to change on an ongoing basis

They did an autopsy, no lethal damage to the neck.
Lethal amount of fentanyl in his system though, by a lot.
That maneuver was part of their training book.

True but people that do opioids all the time, like Floyd, have a much higher tolerance than a non-addict. While the amount found in his blood would be fatal to you or me, that doesn't mean it would be fatal for an addict.

It also hurts the case that he had poor cardiovascular health, the fact he was suffocating before any action by Chauvin, the camera was clearly angled in the 30 seconds everypony saw too show it much severe then it actually was, the ambulance that was supposed too help him got lost and failed too get their on time, the position chauvin had Floyd was approved but controversial, no lethal damage was done too his neck, etc.
It's pretty much straightforward terrible that he served longer then a year. It's extremely arguable he should have not served any time at all.

Unironically it's hard to impute the cause of death because there were a lot of factors involved: fentanyl, methamphetamine, atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease, hypertension, a recent covid infection, and the physical stress of the technique being used to subdue him. That said, under Minnesota law, the necessary elements of the crime (I think it was "unintentional 2nd degree murder" and some variation of "felony murder") are that 1. Chauvin committed a felony (use of excessive force qualifies) and 2. actions taken in the commission of that felony contributed directly to Floyd's death. Those conditions are satisfied even if a healthy individual would be in no serious danger from the same subdual technique, and even if Floyd was in extreme medical risk even before being subdued.

There is no such thing as a lethal amount of fent? Is this some technical definition? How many pounds of fent can you ingest safely?
Jump in the discussion.
No email address required.
Not really, you die because it blocks your carotid arteries which stops blood going to your brain. There doesn't need to be any neck or spine damage in that case, it's why a triangle choke can knock someone out even if they can still breathe.

The amount of fent in his system was utterly insignificant considering he had some tolerance and he absolutely was acting like the opposite as someone OD'ing on CNS depressant. He was straight up asphyxiated as is so blatantly obvious from the video w/a knee on his neck and the one on his back which does not necessitate a wholesale strangulation kill but certainly does by oxygen deprivation. Ventilation is a very precarious thing lol

Ok, then why did the jury not believe it in either the trial or the appeal? Were both juries r-slurred?
Jump in the discussion.
No email address required.
For one, a jury member lied to get on there having said he had no affiliation to BLM but being seen wearing BLM shirts in social media photos, so that's potential tampering right then and there. As for appeal, you dont have a jury trial on appeal its either a lone judge or panel of judges.
Yes, your average jury member is a literal r-slur. Ive been in jury duty and seen jurors convinced that surgeries are 100% safe with zero errors simply because "well the doctor said so and he was pretty confident in saying it so it must be true" as if you cant possibly die from anesthesia or human error. I was dumbfounded hearing that shit but thats why defense attorneys love juries over bench trials, you only need to convince one r-slur out of 12 to win
