In the spirit of spreading Wiki drama, here’s some I found awhile ago

Before I begin, one thing to note about Wikipedia is that while R-editors being themselves and general cute twinks is good drama, it is usually on the older side when found so it won’t be hot and fresh. But with the way power users keep these incessant cat/foid fights alive for several years and being terminal archivoids keeps it up for all to see, the drama ages like a fine steak and wine that can be enjoyed at the eventual later date when it’s unearthed from when a non-Wikicel finally decides to click the Discussion page.

And this is a good one.

For those who fell asleep or made poop jokes in Bible (or Quran :marseytaliban:) class, the Slaughter of the Innocents is that time when Herod of Judea heard of a future King of the Jews was foretold to be born that year who would then take his place. Not wanting to be evicted like a rentoid and lose his funkos, King Herod decided to become an early feminist and thereby ordered for all moid babies were to be put to death. So like a rehash of Exodus, Herod’s soldiers went about their infanticide and missed the very pregnant Mary and Joseph leaving Nazareth for Bethlehem where they had to sleep in a stable because they were poorcels and thus where Jesus was born, who later grew up and became a big celebrity and died from overdose of t-posing.

Now this event seems pretty straight forward thing to be written about, with a short description of the event, it’s theological significance and its memory and interpretation in various cultures and you have yourself a good article, right? Well like all things on Wikipedia be full of words words words about words words words, with a healthy amount of words words words about which words words words should actually be featured, and anything Biblical is guaranteed to be this.

Already in the non-archived Discussion pages there is this here from 2009.

While admitally tame, calling out the “agenda” of a Biblicial author feels out of place and a sad attempt of sounding academic. In the end it is just a Reditor being an faux intellectual, nothing unusual, but it is still somewhat of note for the very first thing to scroll across.

The next one spices things up a bit. Here we begin with a rando Christian sperg out about the article where he’s throwing out Wiki terms that he probably is not completely sure what they mean.

https://i.rdrama.net/images/16841354218055727.webp

Some R-editors respond in calmer manner about how “historians say this” or “historians have concluded” in the usual, cute twink manner that is par normal Wikipedia. They manage to keep their sperg in from the looks of it though.

https://i.rdrama.net/images/16841354259007192.webp

Now these R-editors that reply are less conciliative and drop any pretense of “WP:CIVIL” or “WP:BENICE” or some other shit like that and proceed to act smug, rubbing their superstition-free minds in the face of the dumb Christcuck.

https://i.rdrama.net/images/16841354277873201.webp

After that, one more reply about redundancy in the article and that thread is done.

Things continue to kick up later in the next thread.

Here is what appears a discussion about the political geography and jurisdiction of Ancient Roman Judea and so far does well and is civil with promises towards fruitful discussion.

https://i.rdrama.net/images/1684135431481854.webp

Nope lol, smuglet R-editors arrive and scoff at attempts of making sense of information with appeals to muh “historians largely agree that”.

However, one guy appears on the scene and corrects their misinformation that Jesus’s birth and Herod’s reign is actually reconcilable from a historical standpoint~

Eight years later...

Now there’s a lot of R-edit battles in these pages of this sort and it would be a b-word to type all that out so I won’t go into bulk of them since a large many are the same, apart from the one where R-editors are freaking out that the post-fetal abortions are considered in high regard by Christians despite not being Christian, ignoring that figures like Noah, Abraham, Moses, David, etc. are as well.

https://i.rdrama.net/images/1684135435050374.webp

But there is one more that is completely r-slurred with terminally online Reditors completely sperging across the discussion board for around to see. 18,000 characters of mayo nonsense. Here’s the link because it’s long.

I’ll put a couple screen caps as well that are worthwhile.

One quick note, that Tgeorgescu power user is a Romanian atheist who says he’s not an atheist who likes to bulldog Christian topics from being edited and who made an essay on why Christians editing Biblical articles makes them a “bigot” titled “WP:NOBIGOTS”.

There’s still some other drama I missed from that thread as well as some other threads, not to mention the archived discussions that are older.

Wikipedia is seriously undervalued and an untapped vein but wading through R-editor and power user tantrums to find gold is very good for dramacoin. I salute all brave dramanauts who venture despite the perils. :marseysalutearmy:

Also, reminder that Wiki jannies basically grade other people’s essays for free. They’re teachoid-jannie hybrid.
