This is not a "both sides" issue and never was. Republicans went off the deep end in 2000 after having their friends in the Supreme Court steal the election and they've only become more strident and extreme since then. It just so happens that speaking out about horrible extremists makes the accusers appear extremist, by the very nature of what they convey as the situation at hand.

Well for the past 8 years it's been a constant stream of hate and divisiveness from the leaders (and 1 specific leader in particular) of this country. Not sure we should expect a different outcome from this.
