I'm against cancel culture from both sides, it's only when they do some actual crimes, when I understand actually cancelling someone so they lose their job. Like I don't think blackface is something you should lose your job over.

I dunno about "actual crimes" as the ideal standard because it's vague. I'm partly a fan of "cancel culture" because it's a non-violent way of dealing with miscreants. Nevertheless, too many decision-makers listen to people outside their target market.

It would be nice if you could do whatever you wanted in public with zero consequences from your business / non-profit, but if the CEO is running around screaming, "I HATE BIPOCS! I HATE BIPOCS!," and you're on the Board of Directors, I think it would be most reasonable to boot his butt out. Same goes for screaming, "MAYOCIDE NAO! DUDE BUSSY LMAO!!!" (but it would be most based).

Likewise with the pastor issue, if the congregation will balk at his actions, that means less revenue donations, so see ya later, hon! It really depends on how much those in charge anticipate that such actions will affect their bottomline. Maybe a reconciliation could save enough face? :marseyshrug:

I’m an atheist and if I found this guy was a pastor at a church by my house I’d start going to church again.

I was able to intercept an entire pallet of Pfizers first vaccine shipment. 4000 doses at 2 shots per dose. I've got it stored in a chest freezer in my garage.
