One of the actual clever things they did was to make the terms too long to say in anger so they never turn into slurs. Like you can't say 'fricking African Americans' it sounds silly. But by turning it into a one or two syllable words they're living dangerously with those

I used "neurodivergent" at a party where we were playing jackbox and one guy thought it was hilarious and another girl was like "omg I'm kinda neurodivergent and blah blah" so I thought it worked well.
