My kid did normal kid stuff! I am desperate : Parenting

https://old.reddit.com/r/Parenting/comments/1f1oplp/my_kid_killed_a_frog_i_am_desperate/

Kid 8y killed a frog in the pond. He told, that he wanted to see if she has red blood. I am terrified. I had him assed at psychiatric ward. They Only confirmed ADHD. He received punishments (no screen time), we also apply natural consequences - we are not going to pond and to grandma's rural house any more. I talk to him, we discuss how the animal is hurt, what is death to the animal, what is to kill the animal. (Theme of human death and killing is with us every single day, so we discuss animals). We discuss how frog is the same alive as a horse or cat is. He agrees, but HOW CAN I KNOW, THAT he does understand? How can I get him to really feel, understand and not do this again?? I am lost, I do a lot, but don't see any result.

And this is yet another example of single mothers (note the total lack of mention of any male at all aside from the son) warping their sons. He does something a million other litle boys have and his true crime addict layabout of a mother rushes in with "natural consequences" and psych wards. She'll make him feel like shit for being a normal moid his entire youth and :marseypikachu2: when he grows up into a weirdo shutin and or disregards everything she has to say about anything.

everyone saying "this is developmentally normal" is incorrect. kids are supposed to develop empathy in their first few years of life, and psychologists say hurting or killing an animal at ages 6+ should be considered a "cry for help."

also, no, we didn't all "grow up killing animals." this is literally not normal nor should it be normalized.

1. Cute twink

2. What the frick would a psychologist know about anything? The entire field relies on the people they interrogate being entirely ignorant of all psychology. The moment you crack open the DSM and start reading you know what to tell them to keep them at bay. Throw in some good old fashioned "I don't answer questions" and they're defeated.

Hey, I saw that you just joined rdrama and a group of people who hate me are trying to smear my name by calling me a date male feminist. I just wanted to let you know that it's not true. If you want all the receipts proving it they're right here.

The TL;DR is that I hooked up with one of the hot girls on rdrama, and since I was twice her age, a lot of the guys here who wanted to bang her got jealous and assumed that the only way I could have managed that was by raping her, even though she herself said both before and afterwards that it was all completely consensual. So now that you're the new hot girl on rdrama, I guess they think that I'm going to somehow seduce you into flying all the way across the country (or some crazy shit like that) to hook up with me and they're trying to talk shit about me to make sure that doesnt happen. I don't understand it either, but I just wanted to let you know that I'm a nice guy and I hope you'll look at the evidence and make up your own mind instead of listening to all the jealous haters.

Anyway, with that little intro out of the way, welcome to rdrama! The culture's a little rough here and you're probably going to get tons of requests to β€’show boobsU but if you talk to some of the women here first before engaging with all the creepy dudes, they'll give you some good advice to avoid stalkers and predators. Or (If you haven't been scared off by the rumor mill) you're welcome to ask me and I'm happy to help.

Just out of curiosity, how did you find this place?
