some women are off the rails...
>I just learned this today and thought "how lovely, a future oppressor" with a feeling of disgust. Have I become too jaded and nihilistic, thinking something like that? I mean it's a baby, they aren't born like that, but I can't help but think of what boys are socialized and grow up to be. I feel something similar when I see my mum's neighbour's 5yo girl, I see how rambunctious and happy she is and feel saddened how she'll grow up to be sexually objectified and seen as a lesser human by men and boys. Do I need to take a break from doing deep dives into how awful males are? Your average person feels happy when they see baby girls and boys, not disappointed like me.
>I hope the child is healthy too. I kinda feel bad for her though because even tho she recently got married all I've heard her do is complain about how her husband does things that irritate her. I wonder what it'll be like for her with a newborn and an annoying husband
i was led to believe that this is just how marriage works...
>I feel the same fricking way. At this point (and I'm prepared for this sentiment to rub some people the wrong way), I think women should abort all male fetuses. Chances are that every boy born will grow up to be a misogynistic porn addict who dehumanizes women at the very least, or a male feminist/abuser at the worst.
hot take...
>It is illegal in most places to abort a fetus without any health issues at the stage when you usually find out the s*x (20 weeks usually, 14 with early genetic testing). Easier said than done π€·π»ββοΈ
abort male babies?...
>If everyone is just venting due to the messed up men in their lives (and around the world), I understand. But if you honestly think all male fetuses should be aborted, or if you honestly can't share a women's happiness at having a baby, then you are lacking the empathy that we say all men lack. This is not a matter of "be kind," this is a matter of humanity. And every downmarsey will just prove my point.
some sensibility here...not sure if this is an actual woman...
>and what exactly would be the downside of humanity going extinct? it would hurt your feelings?
smh
