Movie begins immediately after FFH with Peter’s secret identity being exposed. After Peter, MJ and Ned have their MIT applications denied because of the Mysterio murder trial, Peter decides to ask Doctor Strange for help. 5 villains, 3 Spider-Men, Matt Murdock(Daredevil) has a cameo. Green goblin is the main villain, followed by Electro, Doc Ock, Lizard and Sandman. Lots of boring plot happens, the pacing was atrocious. May dies, tells peter 'with great power comes great responsibility'. Final battle takes place around the statue of liberty, which has Captain America's shield on it. Peter-Tom beats the shit out of Goblin and almost kills him, but is stopped by Peter-Tobey. Goblin stabs Tobey in the back with the glider, but Tom overpowers him and injects him with the antidote, restoring Norman’s sanity. Andrew-Peter saves MJ during the fight, this shot was in the trailer. Doc Ock has a change of heart midway through the final battle and starts fighting with Electro. No villain dies, all are neutralized and sent back to their universes. Strange is barely keeping reality together. The villains ask Strange to send them home with renewed hope they can change their fates, and he does. Tobey and Andrew bid farewell to Tom and leave as well. Strange seals the rift and the day is saved. Peter asks Strange to complete the spell and he does. The entire world forgets about Peter Parker, including MJ, Ned, Happy, Flash, Jameson and even Strange. People know Spider-Man exists, but don’t remember that he was an Avenger and helped save the world from Thanos. He’s basically reset to what he was before Iron Man recruited him. He then visits the coffee shop where MJ works. She is dating Ned now and they don’t remember him. Peter considers approaching MJ, but decides against it and leaves alone. Movie ends with Peter living alone in a shitty apartment, his integrated suit heavily damaged from the battle. Sirens blare, and he swings into the night in a new homemade suit. Mid-credits scene is Eddie Brock and Venom hanging out at a hotel resort, planning their new lives as superheroes in the MCU when Strange’s spell warps them back to the Sonyverse. A piece of Venom is left behind and slithers away to find Peter.

Whole film resets the MCU Spider-man continuity, setting up a Spider-man v Venom movie, main spoilers are May dying, Venom, Tobey getting stabbed, MJ forgetting about Peter.
