Specially when you go to a website that's old and it is the typical placeholder website with links to related "websites", or some chinese that uses it as SEO for gambling, or it being put on sale by an exorbitant price. The worst offenders of this phenomenom are domain registars that purposefully register a website so they can sell you it at a higher price because it was not used already. Thank god there are so many TLDs available now and one does not have to rely on .com or .net s anymore
