October 1st - October 31st, every year

Homoween is rDrama's first holigay, originally sprung on dramatards as a complete surprise in 2021. We've been adding to it every year and there are no signs of letting up yet. What follows is an explanation of core mechanics and functionality to help you through this terrifying time.

• Double XP: You get double coins from votes on your posts and comments during Homoween.

• Site Theme: Your boring themes have been replaced with this haunted one. There is no escape. Embrace it. The astute spook enjoyer will notice that the banner changes daily as the Homoween moon slowly rises on rDrama.

• Killer Soundtrack: 71 Halloween classics this year. If you hate fun, you can buy the Grinch Award in the shop and use it on yourself to add a toggle in your settings to disable the tunes. The toggle is device-specific, so you can have music on your PC and no music on your phone for example.

• Limited Time Awards: The shop is packed with nearly a dozen seasonal awards to terrorize and antagonize your fellow users with, from Stab to make their stupid post bleed, to Bones to summon armies of the undead, to Jumpscare to surreptitiously traumatize them and so much more.

• Twink or Treat: A free award can be gotten every hour by going to the shop and clicking Twink or Treat. 50-50 chance of a treat!

• ZIPOCalypse: Join the vaxxmaxxers or the undead horde. Boost yourself and your friends (we're all in this together) for limited immunity and higher dc gains per vote, or say NO to the Fauci Ouchie and bite the shit out of everyone for 2x comment and post weighting in the ranking while infected. There's participation badges and prizes for the winning team and the most prolific biters/vaccinators. More in-depth game mechanics can be found here.

• Lootboxes: As with every holigay, lootboxes are back! Buy lootboxes with your hard-earned currency to work towards lootbox badges that grant permanent discounts in the shop and get five (5) random Homoween awards for the price of like three!

• Limited Edition Badges: Aside from ZIPOCalypse achievement and participation, all survivors of Homoween will receive the customary yearly badge celebrating this historic occasion. And remember to submit a Homoween Marsey for the yearly Spooooooky Marsey Artist badge while you're at it!

• Don't forget to change your name to something spooky you killjoy.
