I woke up this morning with skin of steel. I'm so enraged. My words will be swift and cutting and dripping with venom. I'm in absolute battle mode. Also, the only countries that have ever had women as heads of state, as far as I'm aware, are ones with parliamentary bodies that appoint a PM from the party, so no one is actually voting on who the PM is.

Sure that's how it technically works but de facto most PMs campaign as PM hopefuls and lead their parties, there could be times like Theresa mays term where previous pm resigns or dies but that aside there isn't really much difference between on ground campaigns of pm and prez systems.
