I enjoy the spiderman movies and was casually looking forward to this and did not like it. Everything everyone hates about capeshit cranked up, just way too much quippy self awareness and puns and jokes. Spidermen talking to each other about being spiderman and explicitly describing their movies, and every character repeating their old lines. Like jesus christ, just shut the frick up. This is what it feels like to be a spiderman villain I guess. Just shut the frick up, spiderman. I wouldn't have even cared if it was regular Marvel movie amount or even a little extra cause Spiderman's thing is that he's yappy, but it was just constant constant "do you remember the other movies?!? There is a multiverse full of spiderman, btw go check out Spiderverse 2 next year!"

It was good by MCU standards butbhas the same problems the franchise has of cringe dialogue, too many references to the rest of the canon and unfunny snarky characters. Kinda funny how its unintentionally a pro-vigilante movie
