God this is so unbelievably stupid. Who is liking this post that says numbers were invented by muslims? 900AD? Numbers were invented by ancient mesopotamians in 3400BC. Even then there's evidence of cavemen scrawling numbers on walls and bones.

Pretty much everyone here can vote. Guys nobody thought to use their fingers to count before Muhammad was born.

Still wrong because we've had ways of quantifying, well quantities, for a long time. It's just the formalization of such numbering systems weren't until later. And even then like someone said, Indian scholars were the first ones to do it. Arabic numbers are just how we express it here in the west.
