Fires Raging Through California? Better Let Everyone Know A LARGE Magic The Gathering Collection (Alpha/Beta) Was Lost In The Fires

https://old.reddit.com/r/mtgfinance/comments/1hwwjhe/very_large_alpha_and_beta_mtg_collection_was_lost/

Take it for what it's worth, but have some personal knowledge from a good friend that a fairly large collector of alpha and beta magic lost their entire collection of magic in the fires currently ongoing in California. I honestly don't know the extent of the collection, but at least they were able to escape with their lives and their pets as well.

What kind of special r-slur/neurodivergent decides it's a good idea to go to Reddit and post something like this unironically?

Was it one of you?

What are those worth?

The rarer cards are worth tens of thousands and the best card is worth hundreds of thousands.

That's what makes this story sound a bit silly. If you can take pets you can take a folder of rare cards.

Pets can follow you out the door on their own but if you own cards worth thousands then probably you have them locked away

in a fire safe even, if you live somewhere like California and aren't r-slurred

Grifters will still grift tho so who knows

Depending on the collection alpha and beta cards can go for a pretty penny
