40k group infested with Chuds 
and Soys 
doing battle via memes. Some decent drama to be found
Honestly, I think Facebook has an algorithm that does this on purpose... If you scroll back to about one week ago, this was just another lame group posting unfunny normie memes. However, within the last week the Chuds and Soys have been doing battle and all of a sudden it appears in my feed lol.

is stupid because Games Workshop tries their darndest to portray space marines 
as the good guys 
because they know nobody ACTUALLY likes "muh grimdark" 
setting where "muh everyone is le badguy" 
because human beings are coded at a core level to root for a hero

Half of the appeal at this point is that it gives them plausible deniability when they write cool dudes doing things you're not supposed to show good guys doing in current year. They have enough of a soy audience built up who don't want to admit they like something with chuddy undertones that will spring up to defend everything as chuds just lacking media literacy when the heroic protaganist does a heccing xenophobia or "war crime". People crave the heroic fantasy where the hero has villain aesthetics and does bad things but don't want to admit it.

Most people can't. People can't differentiate fantasy from reality on both sides of the r-slurred stupid vs r-slurred neurodivergent (still stupid) graph, so they twist themselves into crazy shit if they get too deep. People need sports. Sports were always the answer. Pass the ball back and forth.
