My political strategy was to be centrist and support whichever of either the left or the right was less powerful at any given moment, in order to prevent either side from becoming dominant.
What I did not expect was for the left side to completely collapse, like it seems to be doing now.
Maybe I overestimated the fundamental strength of the left half of wingcuckery. Confused by my own intuitions, which later I narcissistically self-confirmed through reading of Moldbuggery and an observation of the left's power in mass media and culture, I thought that the left had some real strength. Right now they look like paper tigers.
My attempted strategy of balancing the two sides is taking an L because the left wingcucks aren't doing their part. They're fleeing in all directions.

Trump has done incalculable damage to leftoids in the last week because he showed how easy it was to just do what you say.
Who cares if the supreme court blocks some of it or whatever. Just sign the documents that you promised and then do your best
It's a clear demonstration that this whole time the Dems never really meant a single thing they said, and it'll take huge changes to ever get that back
