Colonizing Gaza is unironically a good idea imo

  • Finally ends what would otherwise essentially be a forever war

  • The US has the military and economic power to deter actions from Arab neighbor states that hate Israel and just want to destabilize the region.

  • It's likely cheaper for us to just do this than keep funding Israel's attempts to half-squash rebellions every few years

  • Arab states that provided soft support for Hamas now are forced to handle an influx of unhappy refugees and have to deal with the consequences of their actions

  • The US gets to assert greater control in a region where China and Russia are pushing for greater influence

  • If trump actually brings stability to the region they will have to give him a Nobel peace prize, which would be extremely funny and dramatic

IMO what makes it different than all the other forever wars in the Middle East is that Israel is very motivated to resolve it.

An alternative solution to this is to just let Israel enact total palestinoid death, which arguably is a better option for us.
