While this idea was hatched almost as soon as @Marco's Drammies concluded, it took me a while to get it all fleshed out and approved. Then, of course, the Etika NFT thing happened, and it seemed silly to try and take up valuable pin-space on an announcement calling for something that was already happening (and how!) organically.
Having internal fun, creating Marseys, arguing, and laughing at various flavours of r-slurs on the internet, while sitting comfortably in our magnificent little website is great, the primary impetus for our move from under the thumb of reddit gigajannies was always the fact that we'd be, yet again, able to openly and hilariously stir shit elsewhere. This is, in fact, what was mostly happening in the early months of our existence, with powerjannie protest leaks, TXBountyHunters, TPTK, FriendsOfBrian, SRDine Lawlzposts, and other assorted adventures. However, as time went on, we seem to have settled into a kind of self-contained meta entertainment. Until this most recent Etika NFT @ANTILA event, we haven't really done much of note to the rest of the internet recently. Time to change that! Now that EtikaPunks seems mostly ded
, I'm happy to finally officially announce:
The Inaugural Master Baiter Contest, an award for the best off-site drama!!!
There are not many hard-and-fast rules with regard to this, and the award will be nominated by and voted on by our community at some point in the beginning of February (exact date depends on when we find a lull in site's activity). The only things to remember for eligibility are:
- Drama has to take place somewhere other than rdrama.net - no internal spergouts or trolls, please.
- Drama has to be either created or significantly contributed to by our users - no drama caused by 4chan/KF/redditors' or anything of that sort.
- Sitewide rules apply. See sidebar for details, but basically don't do anything doxxy, p-do, or illegal.
The awards themselves are currently TBD. They will definitely include a badge and some (at least a few thousand) 
but the exact variety and amounts haven't been decided on yet and will probably depend on the kind of participation we'll see.
