Hiya! None of you know me, but I've lurked both this site and the motherland for about three miserable years. I'm a software developer, and I got together with Aevann to gauge the possibility of creating a trading-card game involving Marsey. I have a few initial ideas, such as basing the game off of Triple Triad in FF8 (inb4 gamoid), having "vending machine" and "card creator" become dramashop items, and giving out cards randomly throughout the day to active posters.
I'd love to solicit other advice for the game, as well. Please, feel free to contribute anything. I'm actively making this today.

Creatures of Aether is a decent example of a PvP Triple Triad-esque game. All I know is that the art needs to be as dramatic as possible.

Oh, cool. I was initially thinking of making it so that when you create a card, there's either A) a random chance it's Common/Uncommon/Rare/Elite or B) you pay more for higher tiers. Nicer cards might have one edition with one picture, but be commissioned to have a cooler picture with the same stats.
Basically, I think it'd be good to be inclusive in the creation process and not rely on a standard aesthetic.
