how to lose fat if youre like 200+lbs

(my friend did this, has lost over 100 lbs)

-stop eating shit. No more soda/energy drinks/etc especially. no more poptarts or processed sugary foods. no more processed foods if you can for the most part.

-do a little run every day. try to work up to at least a mile.

-drink plenty of water. maybe waterfast for a day every once in awhile

for better, more optimal results, and especially if youre just skinnyfat:

-start working out and eat protein. replace that fat with muscle. You can do this easily as 20 minutes a day of light exercise every other day.

-dont listen to strangers on the internet go do research im mostly talking out of my butt but I know this stuff all will help though to what extent i have no idea

The only sugar I drink on a regular basis is in my coffee creamer, turned out to be only 100 cals though (2x2tbsp in my daily two cups of coffee.). I’m fine with allocating that in my goal.

Good advice for most burgers though :marseythumbsup:

Sugar is the issue, it's kind of like a multiplier tbh. Every time I've stopped drinking sugar drinks and changed nothing else I lost 10 pounds.

I was already eating pretty decently with my β€œdiet by intuition” but there’s plenty of foods I’ve ran into I would have vastly under estimated the calories if I didn’t check the app first.

This app in particular gives you a good idea of the vitamins and minerals in your food as well, which I have no clue how you can tell by intuition.

Calorie counting is really good because it tells you what you should eat more of and less off over time so you’ll prioritize having lower calorie meals. Like for example if you ate too much yesterday having nothing but cereal today would be a good way of counterbalancing that

My only problem with this app is the UI is kind of jank. Pretty sure it’s one of those web β€œwrite once/run anywhere” frameworks.

Oh yeah I use Cronometer as well for counting nutrition. Probably the best site for calculating your RDAs and it's not even close
