A lot of the non-binary and trans kids of today would just have been otherkin if they were born in the earlier generations. In the past people would eventually grow out of it and go on to be relatively normal adults. The difference this time though is that there are some kids that are out their permanently fricking up their body with puberty blockers and hormones. They will probably still grow out of the phase, but their bodies will never recover. They will never have the opportunity to be fully normal again.

I remember watching a “documentary” in high school where this guy wanted to see if he could induce lactation just by simulating what it would be like to be pregnant.
