Nobody claimed Texas was pro-slavery, this is called you flailing and making strawman arguments because you're getting absolutely dismantled.
White-washing slavery does not = pro slavery.
The idea the civil war was over multiple things is absolutely a neo-confederate talking point. Either way, the books were put in schools by a group called the daughters of the confederacy, a neo-confederate group in America.
This has nothing to do with morality, it has to do with you being illiterate to basic historical facts and trying to pretend reality is subjective.

You can trace every point he made back to "slavery" thus they tell him to just say slavery. Neo-confederates misunderstood the scene and thought it was somehow reaffirming their delusion and thus spam it online.
