I’ll worry about it when girls start killing themselves at an alarming rate because trans people are competing against them in sports. Because that is what trans kids are facing when society refuses to accept them.

I’m trans and even I agree with it. And I think you’re referring to Lia Thomas and I’m sorry but anyone who can’t see that she has a clear advantage is blind. She’s first in everything by a long shot. I genuinely feel bad for the other women she’s competing against. They’re just trying to do the right thing while knowing she’s coming in with an advantage and making it so much more difficult for them. Not fair or right!

I think this is a necessary concession for the LGBTQ community to make, as this singular issue has long been a roadblock in addressing more pertinent issues regarding transgender rights and there’s not really what I consider a concrete argument in favor of allowing trans women to compete against biological women.

I totally agree with and also totally support trans folks. But sports are separated by BIOLOGY not IDENTITY. If you have male hormones and genes, u play against males. Plain and simple, end of discussion

On the extremes sure, but I think there are plenty of “average” boys and girls that probably compete around the same level, so I really don’t see any issue there.

The people who have never played any kind of sport or done any kind of combatives always give themselves away. The average man has a huge physical advantage over the average woman. Teenage boys in decent shape can beat out top female athletes.

For some strange reason, one of the first things the Biden admin did, like literally day one, was release an executive order that made sure title IX applied to gender. They cite this Bostock case, which actually is "gender AND s*x" and the executive order kind of implies gender, not s*x, but neither of them mean anything till someone actually puts trains against foids in court and has to choose between gender OR s*x - but it does signal that the executive branch has chosen a side and allegedly will try to enforce train sport supremacy. So Title IX could be used in favor of train sports depending on who the best lawyer is and what the supreme Court thinks.
